Endole

Endole describes itself as a business intelligence service for risk, sales and marketing. Its pricing page lists £39 a month, or £25 a month billed annually. Its features page lists insights on more than 7 million companies and 13 million directors, credit reports with scores and county court judgment tracking, 50-plus filters, ten-year financial trends, monitoring and a contact database of more than 21 million records.

It does well on breadth and price. If you need to check a customer's creditworthiness, search companies by many criteria or monitor accounts, it gives a lot for a low cost. It is less focused on telling you whom to call this morning and why; you build that view from its filters and alerts.

Beauhurst

Beauhurst provides data on private companies in the UK and Germany, with particular depth on high-growth businesses. Its listings describe data from Companies House, Innovate UK grants, HMRC and the Patent Office, more than 500 datapoints, custom alerts, equity investment and valuation data, and profiles of more than 8,000 high-growth companies.

Beauhurst does not publish pricing. The G-Cloud 14 listing for BeauhurstImpact is £24,500 a year for up to five users, rising to £242,500 for up to 500 users, on twelve-month minimum terms. That puts it in the budget range of investment, advisory and larger business development teams. It does well where the buyer is looking for companies with growth, funding or grants; it is a heavy tool for a founder who needs ten calls a morning.

Lockley

Lockley reads UK public records every night and gives a small team a short list each morning, each company linked to the record that explains why now. A 9am email brief carries the top three companies in full, with Call, Tomorrow and Pass working from the email. It begins with a free scan of your own website, which builds a private page of companies worth calling for you.

Its differences are narrow. It does not sell contact lists or bulk email data, and it does not send email for you. If you need credit scores, a full company database or investor data, it is not the right tool. If you need a reason to call that you can verify from a public record, it is built for that.

Which to choose

Choose Endole if credit checks, a searchable database and a low monthly price are the priority. Choose Beauhurst if you work with high-growth companies, investment or grants and have a budget in the tens of thousands. Choose Lockley if you are a small B2B team that wants a daily call list and a checkable reason for each company.

Many teams use more than one. A common pairing is a database for research and credit with a signal service for daily prioritisation. Whichever you pick, ask the vendor to show the source record behind a sample finding. If they cannot, treat the finding as unverified.
